This workshop will give participants a general understanding and some hands-on experience with the cheesemaking process. We will talk about culture, curds, the many uses for whey, aging cheese, some basic science and microbiology involved with cheesemaking, and much more. We will also get to taste a variety of cheeses and other fermented dairy products, so come hungry and curious.
